Guides:

All of JS Outdoors guides have had a minimum of ten years' experience hunting in the area and know all the best locations. Their knowledge and expertise in bow, muzzleloader and rifle hunts will provide gamesmen and -women the ultimate experience and the best opportunity for a successful hunt.

For most hunts, one guide is paired with two hunters, although hunters may arrange for one guide per hunter. Guides and hunters will conduct most of the trip in four wheel drive vehicles and on foot, but 4x4 all-terrain vehicles will be utilized for animal removal and covering long distances in the wilderness.

The outfitter will provide all amenities for the guided hunts including excellent food. The individual hunter is responsible for his or her personal gear, the appropriate license for the hunt, and his/her firearm. The outfitter is always willing to consult the hunter regarding the best equipment and gear for the climate and weather conditions of the area.

Other Important Info:

JS Outdoors wants to make your hunting experience as pleasurable as possible. Of course, a part of that enjoyment is sharing your hunting trip with family and friends. Sometimes, pictures just are not enough to convey the experience to others. Therefore, JS Outdoors will gladly assist hunters in getting their animals to a local, well-reputed taxidermist or take any meat to a butcher in the area.

The owner of JS Outdoors, Jaret McDonald, is committed to personally ensuring your hunt is one you will never forget! His experience hunting in the area amounts to more than twenty years and he has been guiding hunts in the area for more than a decade. His knowledge of the animals in the area as well as their habits and activities is an incredibly valuable asset to have when you are hunting for that "perfect shot."

The State of New Mexico issues game tags using a lottery system. Even if you fail to draw a tag for the upcoming hunting season, private landowner tags are available at a premium price. If you have any questions, please contact Jaret personally at home at 505-672-3375 or by email at jsoutdoors@gmail.com.
